Welcome to Vanorsdale Learning Lab (“VLL”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all content, communications, and services associated with Dr. Christie Vanorsdale’s newsletters, including but not limited to The Weekly Learning Science Roundup and From Classroom to Catalyst (collectively referred to as “the Publications”).

By subscribing to, accessing, or using any portion of these Publications, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

Vanorsdale Learning Lab is an independent education and learning strategy consultancy founded by Dr. Christie Vanorsdale, Ed.D. The Publications are provided for informational, educational, and professional development purposes only. By accessing or subscribing, you agree that these materials do not constitute consulting advice, formal instruction, or guaranteed outcomes.

2. Subscriptions and Access

• Free and paid subscription tiers are offered through Substack or other designated platforms.

• Paid subscriptions grant access to premium or members-only content.

• Subscription fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are managed directly through the publishing platform and subject to its payment policies.

• You may cancel at any time via your account settings; cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

3. Intellectual Property

All materials, including articles, frameworks, graphics, images, logos, downloadable resources, and curated references, are the exclusive intellectual property of Vanorsdale Learning Lab, LLC unless otherwise credited.

You may not:

• Copy, distribute, or reproduce content without written permission.

• Use any VLL content for commercial purposes, resale, or derivative works.

• Remove or alter copyright or attribution notices.

Limited personal and educational use is permitted with proper citation and acknowledgment.

4. Educational and Professional Use Disclaimer

VLL makes no representations or warranties regarding specific business outcomes resulting from application of this content.

5. Privacy and Data

Your personal information is collected and processed according to the Vanorsdale Learning Lab Privacy Policy, which governs how we manage data from subscribers, clients, and site visitors.
We never sell, rent, or share your data without consent. Data collected by Substack or other platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.

6. Community Guidelines

Comments, replies, and discussions within the Publications are expected to maintain professionalism and respect. VLL reserves the right to remove content or restrict participation that is:

• Harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory;

• Promotional or spam-related;

• In violation of applicable laws or platform policies.

7. Modifications and Termination

VLL may modify or discontinue sections of the Publications at any time, including subscription tiers, access terms, or frequency of publication.
Substantial changes to these Terms will be communicated through an update notice within the newsletter or on the website.
